Lets Move For a Better World Challenge

Let’s Move for a Better World is a global Campaign to help fight the obesity and sedentary crisis in local community. 

What is it?

The challenge is to log as much physical activity as possible by training on Technogym equipment. We will be competing as a team against other centres across the UK for a chance to win Technogym equipment for a Derby based school. 

How it works?

Climb the national ranking by acquiring more MOVEs, which is collected by training on Technogym cardio and strength equipment while connected to the MyWellness cloud.

The ranking of our facility is determined by the total number of MOVEs colelcted during the Campaign from Mar 1 to Mar 19.

Prizes

As a little incentive, we will also be offering members who register the highest amount of ‘moves’ in the time period the chance to win a track taster session.

Results

We did it! 50,169,909 MOVES! Over the past 3 weeks we’ve united to MOVE for a great cause.

This year the competition was fierce in the UK with 124 facilities competing to win Technogym equipment for their local schools - more than 50% increase on last year!

We came together to take the UK to 2nd in the worldwide rankings. Across the world over 400 MILLION MOVEs were donated. Over 20 MILLION more MOVEs than last year. That’s something we should all be proud of!

Jackie Cooper was the winner of our in-house challenge, completing a huge 22250 MOVES. She has won an Inspire session voucher –an introduction to track cycling.
