Unwrapping the Arena programme

We’re thrilled to announce more details of our unwrapping the Arena programme.

From Friday 20 March, anyone can drop into the Arena* to visit the café and find out more about what’s on offer. The gym will be open to members and pay-as-you-go users (subject to an induction/familiarisation) from this date. Not a member yet? You still have time to sign up.

A highlight of the programme will be our FREE Open Weekend, taking place on 28-29 March between the hours of 10am and 4pm. During the open weekend our gym will be available to our memebers between 10am and 6pm. This will be a great opportunity for each and everyone to come along, have a tour, watch demonstrations and give certain activities a go. The weekend will be ‘a programme of two halves’ with the Saturday featuring a sporting exhibition programme and the Sunday featuring a cycling exhibition programme. * Entry fee of £1 applies to non-members and those not taking part in an activity, which can be redeemed against drinks purchased from Café 42. During our Open Weekend the fee does not apply.

Join a Wattbike Instructor for a 30 minute taster session during our open weekend (28-29 March) where you will learn about how the Wattbike works, view and improve your pedalling technique via the Polar View and experience the real ride feel whilst viewing all of your data on the big screen.
