Team Derby's successful win over Milton Keynes

Tue 24 Mar 2015

Team Derby, University of Derby’s professional badminton team, led by their coach Donna Kellogg beat Milton Keynes 5:0 on Monday night at Derby Arena. This Team Derby’s first home match was televised live on Sky and ended with an amazing result.

Donna Kellogg, Derby’s triple Olympian, made a surprise return as a player to deliver women’s doubles victory with Kate Robertshaw. This was the first time she played competitively since retiring back in 2009.

Team Derby’s win has enhanced their chances of finishing in the top four of the six-team league and reaching the end of season play-offs.
