New track cycling programme

As of today we have a new track cycling programme available to all of the cycling lovers. Make sure to check out the new programme as there is something available for everyone.
We have introduced Derby Rider sessions that are designed as ‘have a go’ sessions for people who have never been on the track. If you want to see what track cycling is like then make sure to book on for one of the Derby Rider sessions. This sessions is perfect for all abilities and will get you used to the track and the no gear bikes in a stree-free environment.
The Stage 2 + sessions have now been included in our new programme, providing our riders with extra time on the track. This session is not compulsory, but allows the riders to practice skills learnt in Level 2 and feel more confident about going on to the Stage 3 session. Make sure to book in for this sessions if you feel like you want to practive your newly learn skills.
There are now drop in sessions scheduled on Monday and Thursday mornings. These sessions are designed for accredited riders, who wish to get some track time allowing them to train, practice different gearing and discipline specific efforts, such as pursuit and sprint. Drop in sessions are customer lead and will only have the coaches oversee the sessions. These drop in sessions will help you to kick start your day!
Even more we now have a variety of structured quality training (SQT) sessions available for our riders including the below.
- Discipline specific SQT - these sessions are designed for very experienced riders of 20+ hours of SQTs and track league only. As part of these sessions you will get a chance to use the Derny and Madison.
- SQT A - these sessions are designed for experienced riders who have attended multiple SQT sessions previously and who race in the leagues.
- SQT B - these sessiopns are designed for newly accredited riders or those who are looking at developing their fitness.
- SQT A and B - these sessions are designed for both experienced riders who have attended multiple SQT sessions and who race in the leagues as well as for newly accredited riders or those who are looking at developing their fitness.
