Taekwondo (T.A.G.B.) North Midlands Regional Championships

About the Event

Come along and spectate the Europe's largest martial arts competition.

Around about a month before Derby Arena hosts Europe's largest martial arts competition the T.A.G.B.’s British Championships, it will also host The Taekwondo (T.A.G.B.’s) North Midlands Regional Championships.

The regional championships have been running from the beginning of the 1990’s and after out-growing various sports halls it moved to Derby’s then largest Sport Centre - Moorways in 2007. This year the championships have moved to the largest sports arena in the region - Derby Arena.

The regular competitors are really excited about the event and will be using it for experience of the new venue.

Derby was one of the first cities to have a Taekwon-Do school so they are expecting a lot of knowledgeable spectators but even if you are new to the sport and want a great day out with lots of excitement make sure you're there on Sunday 1 November.

Tickets are available from the TAGB school instructor. You will also be able to purchase tickets on the day from the Arena.

Doors open at 9am and the competition will start at 9.30am.
