About the Event
Join the team on Sat 14 May for a 100 mile bike ride to Skegness to raise money for Derbyshire Children's Holiday Centre.
Whether you want to take part in the ride, come along to support the riders or attend the launch from Arena, Derby 2 Skegness invites you to come and support Derbyshire Children's Holiday Centre.
Riders will need to arrive at the Arena between 7am – 7.30am, with photos in front of the building to be taken at 7.40am and the start of the rider at 7.45.
This year the team are aiming to have 125 riders take part and there will be various media outlets following the ride with lots of local coverage.
The Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre provides week long holidays to Skegness for children experiencing difficulty at home. Each year 450 children are given a holiday they would otherwise not have, providing a week of fun, learning and relaxation but a lifetime of memories.
