Team Derby beat Nottingham at Derby Arena

Thanks to the successful NBL match that took place on 27 April at Derby Arena, Team Derby has managed to secure a place at the inaugural National Badminton League finals. Team Derby beat Nottingham 4-1 in their home game thanks to the singles wins for Rajiv Ouseph and Karin Schnaase, and doubles - Donna Kellogg and Kate Robertshaw, who helped to secure the victory on the night.

This match welcomed a large amount of supporters who didn’t let their teams down.

Team Derby’s win has given them the opportunity of winning the very first NBL title in Crawley on 7 June 2015. Having finished second in the league standings, Team Derby will play against Nottingham once again in the semi-finals, while Surrey will be playing against Loughborough.
