  • Meeting rooms - induction loops
  • Fixed seating - seating blocks with fixed induction loops

There are also portable induction loops available that can be used around the Arena.

Wheelchair access

Derby Arena is fully accessible with the lifts and ramps located throughout the building. Even more the gym at the Arena has IFI-accredited equipment.

The seating is ergonomically designed so that it is comfortable for our spectators to enjoy the races and the different events taking place at the Arena. There are specific seating spaces available to ensure that they are fully accessible with wheelchairs.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome at Derby Arena. Please let us know when you book or at least 24 hours in advance and we will be happy to accommodate you.

Alternative formats

Our printed materials are available in large print, on audio CD and in Braille. Please come and see us at the reception or contact us on derbyarena@derby.gov.uk to request a copy and we will be able to accommodate you.

Parking

Parking is available free of charge for a duration of 3 hours for customers using the Arena. Charge of £3 apply afterwards.

Please note: the 3 hours free parking does not apply to times when events take place at the Arena.

Disabled parking is available outside the venue.

For the latest parking related updates please see the noticeboard.

Toilets

There are several toilets available throughout the building on all the different floors, making them fully accessible for everyone. There are also unisex toilets for disabled people available throughout the Arena.

Derby Arena has a Changing Places toilet, providing enough space for disabled people and their carers, and the right equipment, including a height adjustable changing bench and a hoist.

Generic Emergency Evacuation Plan

It is essential that all members of the public that are unable to exit the building by using the stairs in an event of an emergency, such as power failure or fire alarm, make it known to staff on reception.

We will then inform you on where we would meet you in the event of an emergency and briefly explain how we would help you leave the building.

Feedback

Even though we strive to make Derby Arena as accessible as possible we would welcome your feedback and any suggestions that you have. We strive for the best and therefore your comments are essential to us.
